I am writing about the recent order you placed with us - order number: [ORDER]
You chose the 'before 12 noon' service for delivery of your gift on Sunday 26th of March. Unfortunately, we have been advised by our delivery partner, DPD, that they have decided to withdraw this service to all customers for that day. DPD are concerned that they will not be able to deliver all parcels before 12 noon due to the expected high volume of parcels to be delivered on that day.
I am really sorry to disappoint you in this way but I'm afraid the issue is beyond our control and affects every DPD business customer in the UK. We have provided DPD with very clear feedback about this decision and specifically how it affects our customers.
DPD are still offering their 'all day' delivery service for Sunday 26th of March and so we have moved your delivery onto this service. With this service, you will receive an email on the morning of delivery to confirm your one hour delivery window during the day. We are unable to specify whether this will be a morning or afternoon delivery.
We will make a £4 refund to the card account you used to pay for the order; this represents the difference in price between the two services. By way of apology, we will also add £5 worth of Posy Points to your account which you will be able to use when you place your next order with us.
